European Commission Publishes Draft Delegated Regulation to Boost Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs)

Brussels – The European Commission has released a draft Delegated Regulation aimed at accelerating the adoption of sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) across the European Union. This initiative is part of the bloc’s broader strategy to decarbonise aviation and align the sector with the EU’s target of at least a 55% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared to 1990 levels.
