European Council Proposes Clean Transport Corridors to Fast-Track Truck Recharging Infrastructure by 2030

Ahead of the Transport, Telecommunication, and Energy Council meeting on 5 June 2025, the Council of the European Union has put forward a proposal to establish Clean Transport Corridors. This initiative aims to streamline the deployment of recharging infrastructure for zero-emission trucks, a critical step in meeting the EU’s ambitious CO2 emission performance standards for heavy-duty vehicles by 2030.
