James Burns - James is from Stourbridge in the West Midlands of England. He is currently a second-year Journalism, Media and Culture student at Cardiff University. He is taking part in Ibex Publishing’s Insight scheme to gain some valuable experience as a news writer and expand his journalistic skills. He has a passion for transport infrastructure, and is intrigued about why and how we connect society. This scheme is a great opportunity for James to expand his existing knowledge on the world of transport and learn how steps towards sustainability are currently being made, and how we can do more to achieve that goal. Outside of his studies, James enjoys running, and in recent times, he has completed the Cardiff half-marathon and Edinburgh marathon. He also likes the outdoors, and he enjoys going hiking, camping, and going to the beach.
