Sandhya Kalyan is a final-year law student currently studying at Cardiff University. From a young age, she developed a deep appreciation for writing, participating in short-story contests and writing blog posts. As she grew older, this interest evolved into essay-writing contests and contributions to the school newspaper, where she learned the value of creativity and attention to detail. These early experiences not only shaped her character but also guided her future aspirations. Her curiosity laid the foundation for her academic journey, which she plans to continue with a post-graduate degree and, eventually, a PhD. Throughout her time at university, Sandhya has managed to balance her legal studies with her passion for writing, dedicating time to creative writing beyond her academic work. Looking ahead, she is excited to grow both personally and academically during her internship, where she is eager to learn new skills.
